• US Army Corps of Engineers awards $39m dredging works for Fairport Harbor, Ohio (dredgewire.com) — A $39.3 million federal contract will fund multi‑year maintenance dredging at Fairport Harbor, helping keep the local deep-draft commercial harbor open for large vessels and cargo traffic. Work led by the US Army Corps of Engineers' Buffalo District is expected to run through 2029, supporting limestone shipments and other commodities that move through Fairport Harbor and across the Great Lakes.
