• Findlay Man Pleads Guilty To His Role In Embezzlement Scheme (wfin.com) — A longtime employee from Findlay has admitted in federal court to running a years-long embezzlement scheme that diverted more than a million dollars from his employer through fake invoices and concealed lease deals. Investigators say he worked with a contractor to inflate or fabricate hundreds of invoices and secretly profited from company rental payments. Sentencing has not yet been scheduled. 
• University Of Findlay Names Next Head Women's Basketball Coach (wfin.com) — The University of Findlay has hired experienced coach Bri Sims as the new head women’s basketball coach, bringing a track record of turning around struggling programs. Sims says she’s eager to represent Findlay in the community and build a competitive, high-character team that excels both on the court and in the classroom.
