• Kip Young to be inducted in BGSU Baseball Cast of Honor (highlandcountypress.com) — Georgetown native Kip Young, a record-setting left-handed pitcher at Bowling Green State University, will be inducted into the BGSU Baseball Cast of Honor during an Alumni Day ceremony on Saturday, April 25. Young, a 1972 Whiteoak High School graduate, still holds multiple Falcon pitching records and went on to pitch for the Detroit Tigers, winning his first four major league starts.
