Trunk or Treat Golf Cart Style at StoneWater

StoneWater is opening up The Yard for one more special night and embracing the spirit of Halloween by hosting the First Annual Trunk or Treat. Taking place on Friday, October 24, Trunk or Treat allows guests to decorate golf carts that will be parked around The Yard. After cart decorating is complete, kids and families can go from cart to cart collecting treats. Trunk or Treat is free to participate, and registered guests will be provided with a golf cart to decorate upon arrival (guests are allowed to bring their own carts as well). And, just like any Summer Friday or Saturday, The Yard will be open with a food stand and a full bar. Whether you’re looking to collect some candy or just enjoy a Fall night at the yard, StoneWater’s Trunk or Treat is set to be a spooktacular event.

“Halloween is such a fun holiday for families, so we’re super excited to bring a Trick or Treat event to The Yard,” says Lindsay Neidus, Director of Marketing and Business Development. “My sister’s kids all have done Trunk or Treating events and their schools and we thought it would be so fun to host and put a golf cart spin on this fun tradition. We can’t wait to see how creative everyone gets with their costumes and cart decorating!”

While not mandatory, dressing up and cart decorating is highly encouraged. Guests are allowed to decorate their carts as much as they want as long as they don’t damage the cart. Prizes will be awarded for the top three best decorated carts.

Guests are responsible to provide their own candy to pass out. Cart decorating will take place from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., with Trick or Treating taking place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Yard will remain open until 10 p.m.
