KENT, OH - The United Way will celebrate its 2012 campaign with the help of the new Kent State University Football coach Paul Haynes.  “We are pleased to have Coach Haynes join us as we celebrate the success of this year’s community effort” said Steve Kleiber, President & CEO of the United Way of Portage County.

This year’s annual campaign dinner will be held on Friday, April 26th at the Rusty Nail starting at 5:30 PM and concluding around 8:00 PM. During the course of evening, the 2012 campaign results will be announced, the new goal and Honorary Campaign Chair will be revealed for the 2013 campaign, silent auction items will be available, and Coach Haynes will address those in attendance.

 

In addition to speaking about the upcoming KSU football season, Haynes, a 1992 KSU graduate will reflect on his own experiences as a student and what it means to return to his alma mater as head football coach. This year's annual dinner theme is "Tailgate Party", so everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite colors. The cost of the event is $35.
