• Adam Deitch to Release Producer Album WOLF MOON (broadwayworld.com) — Adam Deitch is bringing his Electrospective tour with John Scofield to The Kent Stage on October 16, giving Kent residents a chance to hear the acclaimed drummer and producer live. The show coincides with Deitch's upcoming producer album, Wolf Moon, and caps a busy stretch of touring and recording across his many projects. Tickets and details are available on his website.
   

• Yacht Rock Legend and Oscar-Nominated Singer-Songwriter Announces Farewell Tour 50 Years After Landmark Debut Album (parade.com) — Stephen Bishop's newly announced 50th Anniversary "Careless" Farewell Tour is scheduled to stop in Kent, giving local fans a rare chance to hear his yacht rock hits live. The tour runs March through August 2027, with Kent among a short list of U.S. cities on the itinerary and more dates still to be added.
   

• Lowry's 3TDs pace Western Michigan to another win over Kent State 38-7 (wdtimes.com) — Kent State's football team fell 38-7 at Western Michigan, as the Golden Flashes struggled to keep pace despite 223 passing yards from Dru DeShields and 164 receiving yards from Wayne Harris. The loss drops Kent State to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the MAC, with a road trip to South Florida up next.
