Hillary Clinton Returning to Ohio on Monday

Hillary Clinton will return to Ohio on Oct. 3, coming back to the Buckeye state for the first time in nearly a month, her campaign says.

The time and location of her appearance have not yet been released.

Poll aggregator, RealClearPolitics shows Republican nominee Donald Trump holding a slight advantage over Clinton in the state, though many of the polls included in the tally were taken prior to Monday's debate.

While the candidate hasn't made frequent post-convention appearances to Ohio, she has sent a number of surrogates in her place. Last week, Ohioans were sent a whole crew of Hollywood stars. 'Parks and Recreation' actor Adam Scott visited Northeast Ohio and The West Wing cast made a two-day tour through the state that culminated in a rally in Columbus on Sunday. Chelsea Clinton also stumped for her mother a week ago. The Clinton campaign also sent former President Bill Clinton to Toledo on Tuesday.

On the other side, both Trump and his surrogates have made frequent visits across the state. Most recently, Trump's running-mate Governor Mike Pence appeared at Leetonia High School. Trump himself made an appearance in Toledo on Sept. 21, the same day he was introduced by Don King in Cleveland Heights.
