ICYMI: [Watch] Second Baby Eagle Born In Ohio
Two of the three eagle eggs in Avon Lake have hatched. Watch the young eaglets get welcomed to the world.
UPDATE: The second eagle egg has hatched! The newly hatched eaglet is in the nest and waiting for his third sibling to hatch. You can see the new eagle in the YouTube stream at the bottom of this article. A spokesperson for the Avon Lake school district said the eagle hatched late on Sunday. You can scroll the YouTube video back to that time stamp to see the activity in the nest.

AVON LAKE, OH - Avon Lake's expectant eagle parents, Stars and Stripes, are sitting on three soon-to-be-born eggs and you can watch the eaglets emerge from their shells live. A spokesperson with the Avon Lake Schools, which maintains the video feed of the eagles, says the baby birds should be hatching very soon.

The spokesperson said the eaglets are expected to hatch as early as this week. If you're not able to keep an eye on the stream, Patch will try and keep you updated as shells start to break open.
Right now, the footage is mostly composed of parents Stars and Stripes in the nest, warming the eggs. Once the eggs hatch, we can expect to see the baby birds fed and a whole bunch of other fun developments, like their learning to fly.
