• Lockbourne man sentenced for vehicular homicide in fatal crash (lancastereaglegazette.com) — A Lockbourne man has been sentenced in Lancaster’s Fairfield County Common Pleas Court for a misdemeanor vehicular homicide charge tied to a January 2025 crash on U.S. 33 near Carroll. He received community control, limited jail time, a fine, and a one-year license suspension, which may interest Lancaster-area drivers who use that busy corridor.
   

• America 250-Ohio announces new Ohio Transportation Trail (delgazette.com) — Lancaster is featured on Ohio’s new Transportation Trail with the Soap Box Derby Museum named as one of more than 80 key stops statewide. The driving trail, launching April 25-26 in Dennison, highlights historic transportation sites and invites travelers to explore how Ohio’s planes, trains, cars, and canals helped move people, goods, and ideas across the country.
   

• See some of the action before the rain postponed the games (lancastereaglegazette.com) — Rain cut short both baseball and softball matchups between Bloom-Carroll and Liberty Union on April 22, but not before several Lancaster-area athletes delivered standout early plays at Bloom-Carroll High School.
