• New Lima-Housing For the Future gets $900K to build in Spencerville, Lima (limaohio.com) — State funding will help New Lima–Housing For The Future build six new single-family homes in Lima between 2027 and mid-2028, plus three in Spencerville, expanding affordable homeownership options for local families. Two Lima homes will support a new “Homelessness-to-Homeownership” pilot with Family Promise, while four others will tie into the First Home Lima down payment assistance program, all paired with homeowner education and counseling.
   

• Boys and Girls Club at Bradfield Center grows summer program for youth (hometownstations.com) — Families in Lima can tap into a nine-week Boys and Girls Club summer program at the Bradfield Center that just kicked off for about 80 local students. Kids are getting games and sports alongside social-emotional learning, self-regulation, cooking, safety lessons and other life skills meant to support them long after summer ends.
