• ODNR Offers Special Deer Hunts on State Nature Preserves and Scenic River Lands (littermedia.com) — Hunters in and around Logan can apply for a special gun hunt at Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve, with a required lottery meeting on Aug. 22 at 11:30 a.m. at 7211 Bremen Road in Logan. ODNR is running similar controlled deer hunts statewide to protect sensitive plant habitats, with each site requiring in-person registration and orientation.
