Veterans' groups collect food and cash for Gospel Mission (mariettatimes.com) — A veterans-led food drive outside the Marietta Walmart just raised nearly $2,000 and more than a truckload of food for the Gospel Mission of Marietta, which feeds hundreds of people each week. Marietta, Warren show out at sectionals (wtap.com) — Marietta High School's girls golf team dominated sectionals, placing all five golfers in the top six and cruising to a 38-stroke win over Warren to advance to districts. Players and coach credit strong preparation and close-knit team chemistry for the success, and they'll head to Crystal Springs Golf Course on Monday with Warren's Maggie Evans, who won individual honors.
