- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be replacing the entire Post Street wall along the river trail bike path in Marietta. - Marietta College's women's basketball team held off Mount Union in a 70-67 victory. The game came down to a single possession in which Emma Cannon scored the game-sealing free throw. The victory brings Marietta colleges record to 13-1 on the season. (Marietta Times)
- Students at Marietta College had their first day of Spring semester classes yesterday. The college's COVID-19 guidelines require students and staff to wear masks indoors. However, they are not required to wear one outside. The college is looking to keep COVID-19 cases low this semester as they have in previous ones, as the school had roughly 240 total cases during the 2020/2021 semester. (WTAP)
