Attorney for Devola residents against sewering files appeal: Michelle Newbanks of The Marietta Times reports that Greg DeGulis, attorney for Devola Against Sewering Homes (DASH), filed a notice to appeal this week. This was filed with the Environmental Review Appeals Commission as a response to the sewer installation permit being granted. DeGulis told the newspaper that if they lose the appeal, the permit to install will stand, and the county will be able to move forward.

Galliapolis native is a big hit on NBC's The Voice: Samantha Cavelli of WTAP reports that Connor Christian is crushing it on primetime. He made it through the blind auditions last month, and joined Team Blake after his performance of Gary Clark Jr's Bright Lights. He won a knockout round on March 29 and is still in it to win it. Whether he wins it all or not, he's committed to playing shows closer to home after the show.
Marietta College baseball continues to crush it: On Saturday the Etta Express picked up two more wins with their doubleheader against Capital University. The Pioneers won the first game 11-1, and the second game 14-4. Both games were stopped in the eighth inning due to their conference's mercy rules. The Pioneers are now 16-1 for the season. Marietta plays another doubleheader on Sunday in Columbus against Capital University.
