Dear Commissioner Schilling:
On behalf of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Section 594 Program, I am pleased to inform you that your application for the Devola Sewer Collection System Project in Washington County, OH was selected. Your project was deemed eligible for the Section 594 Program and selected for Federal funding in the amount of $1,075,000, applicable toward project design and construction costs.
This is a reimbursable program and should not be considered a grant program. The Corps of Engineers is authorized to provide funding for a defined scope of work with cost sharing at 75% Federal and 25% non-Federal. These funds must be cost shared for all costs associated with the project to include Corps of Engineers reviews, environmental assessment, etc. This project budget reflects $358,333 matching local cost share funds and$1,075,000 Corps of Engineers funds. The estimated reimbursement for project invoices is $1,000,000.
I will be contacting you soon to discuss project requirements and implementation schedule. If you need to contact me in the interim, I can be reached at (304) 399-5964 or by email at Lesli.F.StoneSmith@usace.army.mil.
We are excited to support your community and look forward to working together.
