Marietta City Council Committee Meetings Are Set For Tomorrow
The public is invited to attend Marietta City Council Committee meetings on zoom.

MARIETTA, OH — There are a number of issues that Marietta City Council Committees will be looking at tomorrow. As of right now, committee meetings aren't being held at the armory. Anyone interested can attend the meeting digitally through the city's Facebook page. Folks who have questions or comments during the meeting can ask council members directly online.
The Employee Relations and Finance Committee will meet from 4 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. to discuss finalizing compensation plans for non-union employees. They'll discuss creating a position in the Mental Health Court. And they'll be discussing salaries for Council and Treasurer.
The Streets and Transportation Committees meet from 4:15 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. to discuss a request concerning outdoor seating for the Levee House Bistro. They'll also be looking at an update and the final cost of the 2020 citywide asphalt and ADA curb ramps.

The Lands, Buildings, and Parks Committee will meet from 4:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. to discuss legislation to allow a code enforcement officer to bid out 4 blighted property demolitions. They'll be looking at the WAS Start Westward Phase 1 Project. And they'll be looking at an issue concerning 304 Putnam Street and engineering services with Pickering Associates for relocation a generator and electrical switchgear.
Finally the Police and Fire Committee will meet from 4:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. to request replacing their self-contained breathing apparatus by going for sealed bids. They'll also be requesting permission to apply for a BWC grant that is focused on cancer risk reduction.
