On April, 27, 2021 P50 responded to Bridgeport Equipment in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, P50 spoke to management, who advised that they had three (3) items stolen from them on April 21, 2021.

On 04/28/21 P23 was dispatched to Walmart regarding a shoplifting. Male subject was not ringing up all items in the self-checkout register.

On April 30, 2021 at 16:31 P52 took a report of a Uhaul truck stolen from 1342 Colegate Drive. A suspect was identified who resides in Beverly, Ohio. Beverly PD checked the address and found the Uhaul and the suspect. Uhaul picked up the truck and this case is still under investigation.

On April 30, 2021 P50 responded to Walmart in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, P50 found that a female was putting two items together, but only paying for the bottom item while she was going through the self-checkout. Charges pending.

P74 met with a complainant at 309 Maple Street in reference to a stolen firearm. The firearm had been taken from her bedroom between 04/28/21 and 04/30/21.

ON 050121 P65 conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of the Williamstown Bridge. During the stop, the odor of marijuana was detected and a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. The search revealed 45.3 grams total of marijuana and also suspected cocaine. The operator, Zachary Lemley was charged with a traffic offense as well as possession of marijuana. The passenger, Kyle Shutts, was also charged with possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia. Further charges may arise after testing.

On 050121 at 3:01 P.M., P25 was dispatched on station. The victim advised that he accidentally left his car unlocked in the 400-block of Virginia St. and two packages were taken.

On 05/01/21 P65 was dispatched to Walmart, 804 Pike Street, in reference to a female shoplifter who was failing to scan items she then bagged up. The female was identified and charges will be filed for theft.

On 050221 at 0808HRS, S13, and P64 were dispatched to 736 Greene St. In reference to a reported DOA. Upon arrival, officers made contact with reporting party and spoke with several other parties. The deceased, a 39-year-old man was identified and was sent to Montgomery County for an autopsy. At this time this case remains under further investigation.

On 05/02/21, P65 was dispatched to Walmart, 804 Pike Street, in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Upon arrival and after the investigation, it was learned that a male had taken stickers off of 9 different less expensive items and placed them on more expensive items. The male then paid for the less expensive sticker and was stopped by APA. The male will be summoned on a charge of theft and is banned for life.

On 05/02/21 at 2154, P52 responded to a theft from Walmart when a woman was caught not scanning all her items. She will be summoned for theft.

On May 3RS, 2021, around 1256HRS, P66 was dispatched to 736 Greene St in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival and after investigation it was learned that Dustin Wade forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment. An argument took place during which Dustin kicked the victim’s dog and shoved her to the ground. When the victim tried calling for help, Dustin Wade grabbed the phone out of her hand trying to prevent her from calling 911, and fled. Later the same evening Wade returned and was captured and charged with domestic violence, burglary, menacing by stalking and disrupting public service, and resisting arrest.
