This dealt with the transfer of a liquor license. It was not contested at all and was approved.

Bills from various departments
The commissioners unanimously approved the bills.
Additional Appropriation – Sewer
This addresses covering the cost to repair a sewer lift station that is down right now. The cost was $2100 and it was approved without dispute.
Additional Appropriation – Behavioral Health Board
This is acknowledging $1,200 in grant money for the Washington County Behavioral Health Board. It was approved without dispute.
Additional Appropriation – Engineer
This item was appropriating funds in the amount of $170,000 to the Motor Vehicle Gas Tax Fund. It was approved without dispute.
Transfer – Engineer
This item authorized the Motor Vehicle Gas Tax Fund transfer of $7,464.34 from Road Construction to Advance Out. It was approved without dispute.
Then & Now
This item looked at county bills that had been paid without prior approval of the commissioners. The commissioners examined these bills and approved them after the fact without dispute.
Veterans – Request to pay late fees
There was a bill from Veterans Affairs that was mailed in time, postmarked correctly, but didn't get to its destination for weeks. Commissioner Schilling says this is an issue they've been running into lately dealing with the post office. This was in the amount of $223.84. It was approved without dispute.
Travel – Building Department
This is for the county's Chief Building Official to attend required training in Colorado next month. The amount of $3,170 was approved without dispute.
Human Resources – Meal Per Diem Policy Update
This item affects the county's policy for meal per diem. County employees will still get $7.50 for breakfast, lunch was $7.50 but is going up to $10.00, dinner was $15.00 but is going up to $20.00. This was approved without dispute. County commissioners are toying around with the idea of just giving a daily meal per diem, as opposed to a per-meal per diem.
Jail Contract – Belmont County
This is a routine jail contract for Washington County to house those arrested in Belmont County. It was approved without dispute.
Covid Taskforce – Request #2021-11
This is for COVID-19 testing for everyone in the jail, employees, and inmates. It was approved without dispute.
Engineer – Annual Report for 2020
This is an item acknowledging the county engineer's annual report. It was approved without dispute.
Engineer – ODOT Salt Co-Op Bid
This item looks at participating in the ODOT Co-Operative Summer Salt Bid for 2021 -2022. It was approved without dispute.
Engineer – Request to purchase Mower Max & accessories
This item seeking permission to spend $205,400 to buy a state-of-the-art Mower Max mower with accessories. It was approved without dispute.
Commissioners – Sewer Rate Discussion
The commissioners wanted to publicly discuss issues with the county sewer system, how much it will cost to fix them, and how much this is going to affect folks' sewer rates. They say this is separate from Devola sewer system issues, which will not start affecting sewer rates for 2-3 years.
