• Ashtabula County confirms 2 cases of measles (spectrumnews1.com) — Local residents who visited Hillcrest Hospital’s Adult Emergency Department in Mayfield Heights on July 18 from 2:46 p.m. to 10:57 p.m. may have been exposed to measles. Health officials are tracing contacts and urging vaccination, noting symptoms could appear between July 24 and Aug. 19 and that Ohio’s measles vaccination rates remain below the recommended 95 percent.
