• OHHA awards scholarships to 13 outstanding students – U.S. Trotting News (ustrottingnews.com) — Mechanicsburg’s own Hannah Dingledine has earned an Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association scholarship while pursuing pre-veterinary studies at Wright State and staying active in Champaign County’s Standardbred 4-H program. She’ll also chair the first annual Dachshund Races at this year’s Champaign County Fair, as 12 other Ohio and regional students share in $25,000 of awards. 
• Tigers, Indians, Cardinals honored for OHC baseball, softball prowess (peakofohio.com) — Mechanicsburg baseball and softball players earned numerous Ohio Heritage Conference North Division honors, highlighting strong seasons on both diamonds. Multiple Indians were named to first and second teams, received honorable mentions, and took home a sportsmanship award, standing alongside rivals from West Liberty-Salem, Triad, and West Jefferson.
• 18-year-old airlifted after Champaign County head-on crash; in stable condition (wdtn.com) — Mechanicsburg Fire and EMS helped respond to a serious head-on crash Tuesday morning on State Route 29 in Salem Township, where an 18-year-old from New Carlisle was airlifted with life-threatening injuries and is now stable. A 50-year-old Urbana driver suffered minor injuries, and both lanes of Route 29 were temporarily closed while troopers investigated.
