Medina man gets 10 years in prison for massive drug-making operation at his home (fox8.com) — A Medina resident has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after authorities uncovered a large drug manufacturing operation at his Akron home that was intended to supply Medina and Summit counties. Federal agents seized MDMA, ketamine, THC products, cash, vehicles, and a firearm, and prosecutors say he tried to hide profits through Akron real estate purchases.

Ohio lawmakers want to fund these Akron-area community projects (beaconjournal.com) — State lawmakers are advancing a new two-year capital budget that sets aside $2.21 million for community projects in Medina County, alongside larger allocations for Summit and Portage counties.
