Lebron scores 31, Irving 26, as the Cavs roll into the All-Star break with win over the Pacers, 113-104

Cavs Coach Tyronn Lue wanted the Cavs to win tonight so the Cavs would head into the All-Star Break on a roll. They are rolling now into the All-Star break with their seventh win in eight games and with a 39-16 record.
The Cavs found out on Tuesday that they would be without their All-Star power forward Kevin Love for six weeks and needed everyone to step it up another notch.
Lebron James led everybody with 31 points and Cleveland beat the Indiana Pacers for the second time in eight days, 113-104 on Wednesday night. Kyrie Irving added 26 points and seven assists in 34 minutes. Tristan Thompson added 12 points and 12 rebounds. Kyle Korver scored 22 off the bench and became the seventh player in NBA history with 2,000 career 3-pointers. Channing Frye, starting in place of Kevin Love, scored four points and grabbed eight rebounds.

James went over 30 points for the 13th time this season. He shot 12-of-17 from the field and 4-of-5 from deep, and contributed five rebounds and four assists. For those who watch his minutes closely, James played 33 against the Pacers (well under his 37.6 average).
The Pacers (29-27) have lost five straight. Glenn Robinson III led them with 19 points. All-Star Paul George scored 13 points but shot 4-of-19, missing 12 in a row at one point. Indiana were without two power forwards, with Thaddeus Young and Lavoy Allen out with injuries.

COMING UP FOR THE CAVS: The All-Star break. The game is Sunday at 8:00 pm in New Orleans where the Cavs will be represented by Lebron James and Kyrie Irving. Cavs start off the second half of the season on February 23rd at home against the Knicks.
