• Several damaged vehicles, reports of underage alcohol consumption during Miami move-in (oxfreepress.com) — Oxford Police logged a busy Miami University move‑in week, with multiple underage drinking citations, two OVI arrests, and several theft and vandalism reports across town. Incidents ranged from shattered car mirrors on North Elm Street to a damaged vehicle at Oxford's Hampton Inn and a suspected methamphetamine seizure, highlighting safety and property concerns as students returned.
