• Oxford City Council ends Flock camera program amid growing criticism (fox19.com) — Oxford City Council has voted 6–1 to end its partnership with Flock license-plate cameras, citing growing privacy and surveillance concerns similar to debates in nearby communities. The move follows other cities in the region dropping the technology and comes amid national criticism from civil-liberties advocates about mass tracking of residents' movements.
   

• Ohio Man Arrested On Stalking Charge In Westport: Police (patch.com) — A 31-year-old man from Oxford was arrested in Westport, Connecticut on charges including first-degree stalking and violating a restraining order, after allegedly traveling cross-country to confront someone linked to a past victim. Police say he was taken into custody at a business connected to the victim's relative and held on $250,000 bail.
