Olmsted Falls Boy Scout Leader, Auxiliary Cop Charged With Rape Of 15-Year-Old

OLMSTED FALLS, OH - A former auxiliary police officer for Olmsted Falls and Boy Scout troop leader has been arrested and accused of raping a 15-year-old boy.

Aaron Robertson, 28, was arrested on Monday without incident, the Associated Press reports. The Olmsted Falls Police Department ended Robertson's role after the arrest.

Police say a tip called into child protective services led to an investigation into Robertson. It is not clear whether the victim was involved the Boy Scout troop or if Robertson was leading the troop at the time of the incidents.

Channel 5 reports that Robertson did not have a criminal history prior to this investigation. Police do not believe that Robertson has children of his own.

Allegations against Robertson came forward last week and he now faces 10 counts of rape against the 15-year-old, Channel 3 reports.
