• Middleburg Heights police K-9 Zeke passes away (fox8.com) — Middleburg Heights is mourning the loss of Zeke, the police department's only K-9 officer, who died at age 5 after ongoing health issues. Chief Robert Swanson praised Zeke's work in searches and community relations, and a funeral service is planned at Ripepi and Sons Funeral Home on Bagley Road as residents offer support and consider future donations.
