• Suspect in Roush's Market Arson Arrested by U.S. Marshals (usmarshals.gov) — New Franklin residents should know their local police department is part of the regional task force that quickly arrested a suspect in the arson that destroyed Roush’s Market in Akron. Authorities say the fire was intentionally set, and U.S. Marshals and partner agencies, including New Franklin Police, located the suspect within hours. City leaders are urging support for the longtime neighborhood business as it recovers.
