• Bond reduced for North Olmsted man charged in deadly shooting of his wife, son (cleveland19.com) — A North Olmsted man accused of fatally shooting his wife and 18-year-old son on Evelyn Drive has had his bond reduced from $5 million to $2 million as the case heads to a grand jury. Police say both victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds at the family home, and investigators have not yet identified a motive for the killings.
   

• North Olmsted schools announces new e-bike policy (cleveland.com) — If your child rides an e-bike or e-scooter to North Olmsted schools, they’ll now need to walk it on and off school property and park at designated racks. Riding on school sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots is no longer allowed as the district tweaks rules to improve safety during busy arrival and dismissal times.
   

• Charges dropped against North Olmsted teen who said he shot his brother to protect their mom (cleveland.com) — Murder charges have been dropped against an 18-year-old from North Olmsted who told 911 he shot his brother to protect their mother during a violent incident on Lucydale Avenue. After reviewing the case, Cuyahoga County prosecutors said they could not disprove he acted in self-defense, and he is no longer being held in county jail.
