• These 21 Ohio employers are now paying nearly half of their workers' child care costs (cleveland.com) — Families connected to Horizon Education Centers in North Olmsted could see major child care savings, as the center is among 21 Ohio employers now covering 40% of workers’ child care costs. Through the state’s new Child Care Credit Program, parents pay 40% and Ohio covers the remaining 20%, aiming to ease costs that can reach $15,000 per child annually. 
• Macaroni Grill closes Montrose location; will auction off all equipment (record-courier.com) — North Olmsted now has the only remaining Romano’s Macaroni Grill in the area after the longtime Montrose location near Akron closed and moved to auction off all its equipment. Locals interested in restaurant-grade gear can bid online on more than 230 items, from kitchen equipment to signage, with everything needing to be removed by April 24.
