• North Canton rejects neighborhood business district proposal (cantonrep.com) — North Canton City Council has dropped a proposed neighborhood business zoning district after residents voiced concerns about commercial activity encroaching on residential streets. Council instead advanced broader updates that add a limited industrial district, allow small data centers with oversight, and explicitly ban cannabis-related facilities. These changes could shape where future businesses and light industry locate within the city.
