• U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force (usmarshals.gov) — A regional U.S. Marshals fugitive task force that includes the Northfield Police Department was involved in a deadly confrontation Thursday morning while trying to arrest a wanted man in Akron. Investigators say the suspect fired a gun and was shot by officers, and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation will now review what happened before the case goes to a Summit County grand jury.
