📰 News we're reading
• Court declines to authorize notice in FLSA case (milawyersweekly.com) — A federal judge in Michigan refused to let a wage-and-hour lawsuit against Autoneum North America proceed as a broader collective action, even though one of the named plaintiffs worked as a mold operator in Norwalk. The court said workers at different plants, including Norwalk's, were subject to varying policies and union agreements, so the evidence didn't show a strong likelihood of a single companywide overtime underpayment practice.
