• Summit Metro Parks warns about coyote den (fox8.com) — Coyotes were previously spotted roaming through Pepper Pike, and now Summit Metro Parks is warning visitors to avoid a specific access point near Firestone Metro Park in Summit County because of a nearby coyote den. Officials stress the den is temporary but urge people to keep their distance, stay calm if they see coyotes, and protect pets by giving the animals plenty of space.
