• Pickerington schools places 10-year, 0.75% income-tax levy on November ballot (nbc4i.com) — Pickerington Local Schools are asking voters this November to approve a new 10-year, 0.75% income-tax levy that would raise about $21.9 million annually and lift the total school income-tax rate to 1.75%. District leaders say the money is needed to avoid a projected $19 million deficit and deeper cuts to classes, athletics, transportation, and staff over the next two years.
