• Ohio Shows Why Permitting Reform Is Easier Said Than Done (governing.com) — State lawmakers and regulators are weighing routes for a major new power transmission project that could run north or south of Piqua, raising concerns about how lines might affect local growth along the I-75 corridor. Officials from Miami, Shelby, Champaign and Darke counties are all pushing to shift the route away from their communities, even as statewide demand for electricity surges from data centers and other development.
