• National Museum of the U.S. Air Force to close for emergency exercise (whio.com) — Riverside residents should know the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force will be completely closed on Wednesday, Sept. 9, for a full-scale emergency response exercise, with all museum, foundation, and Hall of Fame operations shut down. Expect visible emergency vehicles, extra security, and possible traffic delays near the base that day, before everything reopens with normal hours on Thursday, Sept. 10. 
• Buc-ee's sues Beaver's Mini-Mart over beaver mascot similarity (whio.com) — A Beavercreek mini-mart is being sued by Buc-ee’s over its beaver mascot, and the case is drawing regional attention and support. One shopper from Riverside says he’ll now stop there whenever he’s nearby, joining others from across the Miami Valley rallying behind the small business as it prepares to fight the federal lawsuit.
