The project is expected to generate $40 million in annual payroll by 2030, strengthening the local role in Ohio’s automotive sector. 
• Rossford picked as location for auto manufacturer (sent-trib.com) — Rossford has landed a major OPmobility auto parts plant that’s expected to create more than 500 jobs at startup and over 540 long-term, bringing $40 million in annual payroll. The facility will sit south of Buck Road near Glenwood Road, prompting a new roundabout to handle truck traffic. Local leaders say the project should boost businesses, infrastructure, and overall quality of life.
• Highway patrol recognizes Rossford police officer with distinguished service medallion (sent-trib.com) — A Rossford police officer has been honored statewide after donating a kidney to save a fellow law enforcement officer, earning the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Distinguished Service Medallion. Officer Michael Shaffer, who joined the Rossford department less than a year ago, is now back on road patrol, with city leadership praising his courage and character.
