• Ohio EPA to host public meeting about Shaker Lakes project (wkyc.com) — Shaker Heights residents are being asked to weigh in Tuesday as the Ohio EPA hosts a 6 p.m. public meeting at Shaker Heights Middle School on plans to remove the Horseshoe Lake dam and reshape the Shaker Lakes area. The proposal would restore Doan Brook's natural flow, create a 60‑acre park with trails and nature play areas, and leave the future of Lower Shaker Lake still under review.
   

• Volleyball Recap: Strongsville's Seniors Lead the Way (maxpreps.com) — Shaker Heights volleyball fans may be interested to know Strongsville followed its big win over Shaker Heights with a narrow 2-1 loss to Wadsworth on Saturday. Strongsville's seniors still shined, with standout performances from hitters and setters despite the defeat. The Mustangs quickly bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Crestwood, moving to 11-1 overall.
