Despite Arrests, Thefts From Unlocked Cars Continue In Shaker Heights
Unlocked cars, garages, and houses were hit by thieves this past week. Police are reporting at least five incidents of theft.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - Despite arresting a trio of men believed to be connected to a slew of thefts from unlocked cars, houses, and garages, the city still found itself hit by another slate of thefts this week. At least five thefts from unlocked vehicles, houses, and garages occurred this week, police say.
Theft, Feb. 19 - Another day, another theft from an unlocked car. This time personal property was stolen from an unlocked car on Strathavon Road.
Theft, Feb. 19 - A cell phone was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the Heinen's parking lot on Chagrin Boulevard.

Theft, Feb. 21 - At about 7:45 a.m. a resident on Lansmere Road reported that someone entered their unlocked home overnight and stole personal property.
Theft, Feb. 21 - Someone snagged a bicycle out of an unsecured garage on Kenmore Road. The resident told police they believe the bicycle was stolen on Feb. 17.

Theft, Feb. 22 - Two pairs of Nike shoes, a cell phone holder, and a watch were stolen from an unlocked car on Strathavon. The car was parked in a resident's driveway.
