Meet The Shaker Schools' Superintendent Finalists

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The Shaker Heights Schools have scheduled public meetings for the two superintendent finalists.

David Glasner, executive director of curriculum and instruction of Shaker Heights Schools and interim principal of Shaker Heights High School, is one superintendent finalist. The other is Elizabeth Kirby, chief of school strategy and planning at Chicago Public Schools.

Kirby will meet the community on Tuesday, March 12. Her session will be held in the Shaker Heights High Upper Cafeteria from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Glasner's public meeting will be held Wednesday, March 13. His session will also be held in the Shaker Heights High Upper Cafeteria from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Former Shaker Heights Schools Superintendent Gregory Hutchings left the district over the summer. Stephen Wilkins was named interim superintendent soon after news of Hutchings' departure became public and has been serving in the role this school year.
