More Bicycles Stolen In Shaker Heights
Thieves seem to be targeting the city's collection of bikes.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Two more bicycles were stolen in Shaker Heights over the weekend. Two weeks ago, there were a rash of bike thefts throughout the city and the trend seems to be continuing, with two-wheeled items being targeted by thieves.
Between July 17 and July 19, seven bicycles were stolen in Shaker Heights. Two more bikes were stolen on July 28.
The two bicycles were stolen in separate incidents on Friday. The first theft occurred at about 3:30 p.m. A resident in the 20000 block of Duffield Road reported that an unknown man had stolen an unsecured bicycle from outside their home.

The second theft occurred in the early evening. A 40-year-old Cleveland resident called police and said an unknown man had stolen their mountain bicycle.
