Shaker Heights Credit Union Nearly Robbed: Blotter

Police are searching for the three suspects that attempted to rob the Buckeye State Credit Union on April 3.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - Shaker Heights Police dealt with a major crime this past week when three unidentified men attempted to rob the Buckeye State Credit Union. The trio were foiled by a faulty dispensing machine and left the scene empty-handed.

Still, Cleveland FBI and Shaker Heights Police are on the lookout for the three suspects. You can read more about the attempted robbery and this week's other incidents below.

Theft, April 2 - Police detained a 22-year-old Streetsboro man who is believed to have stolen money from a purse that was left unattended on Chagrin Boulevard.

Bank Robbery, April 3 - The Buckeye State Credit Union was nearly robbed at 10:10 a.m. on April 3 by three unidentified male suspects. The suspects were unable to get any money and fled the scene empty-handed. You can read more about that robbery by clicking here.

Theft, April 5 - Lawn equipment was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 1400 block of Becket Road.
