Shaker Heights Credit Union Robbery: Clevelander Indicted
The accused also allegedly robbed a credit union in Willoughby, the same day as the robbery in Shaker.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — A Cleveland has been indicted for allegedly taking part in armed robberies of credit unions in Shaker Heights and Willoughby in 2017.
Richode Meredith-Hill, 20, reportedly robbed credit unions in both cities on the same day last year. He was indicted on two counts of armed credit union robbery and two counts of using a firearm during a crime of violence.
The Department of Justice said Meredith-Hill attempted to rob the Buckeye State Credit Union on Chagrin Boulevard in Shaker Heights on April 3. He then robbed the Cardinal Community Credit Union on Euclid Avenue in Willoughby.

Meredith-Hill allegedly helped another person use a gun during these robberies, the indictment against him says.
This case is part of the "Project Safe Neighborhoods," a gun violence reduction program administered by the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Ohio. The program targets armed criminals for federal prosecution.

The robberies were investigated by the FBI, with assistance from the police departments of Cleveland, Shaker Heights, Euclid and Willoughby.
