Walgreens In Shaker Heights Robbed
Shaker Heights Police dealt with a series of large-scale thefts in the city over the past week, including a robbery of a drug store.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - Police dealt with a variety of thefts his past week. Read on for information on each of the week's major incidents.
Theft, April 16 - An armed man robbed the Walgreen's, 16000 block of Chagrin Boulevard, on April 16. The suspect was male, approximately 5'11, in his 50s, and he displayed what was believed to be a weapon in his waistband. The man stole hygiene products and food supplies and then fled the store in a silver vehicle.
Theft, April 17 - An employee of the Shaker Heights Youth Center, 17300 Van Aken Boulevard, reported that someone stole their unsecured laptop. The device had been left outside of a classroom unattended.

Theft, April 18 - A patron of the Shaker Heights Main Library, in the 16000 block of Chagrin Boulevard, reported that someone stole their cell phone. The phone had been left unsecured near the library's printing station.
Theft from Motor Vehicle, April 19 - Someone stole tools from an unlocked car parked in the 3000 block of Townley Road. The owner of the vehicle reported the theft at 11 a.m. on April 19.

Motor Vehicle Theft, April 19 - A Shaker Heights resident's car was stolen April 19. The resident's car was struck while driving. When the resident pulled over and assessed the damage, the driver of the other car grabbed the resident's keys and drove the resident's vehicle toward Shaker Square.
