• Snapped Duke Energy pole shuts down Kemper Road, railroad crossing in Sharonville (fox19.com) — Kemper Road in Sharonville was shut down in both directions Tuesday morning after a Rumpke truck snagged Duke Energy wires, snapping a utility pole near the Norfolk Southern railroad crossing at Reading Road. No one was hurt, but Duke Energy crews are replacing the pole and drivers are urged to stay on Reading Road (U.S. 42) to detour around the closure.

• Bus driver strike threatens rides for 5,000 Princeton City students (fox19.com) — Families in the Princeton City Schools district, based in Sharonville, could see major bus disruptions as drivers for contractor First Student prepare to strike over pay and benefits. The district is planning at-home learning options, won't penalize absences on Oct. 1–2, and says buses are vital because many neighborhoods lack sidewalks.
