• Sheffield Lake native to represent Ohio at national Miss for America Strong competition (chroniclet.com) — A longtime Sheffield Lake resident, Porsha Renae Hall, is heading from her hometown’s Community Days Parade to represent Ohio at the national Miss for America Strong competition in Las Vegas this August. Hall, who has lived in Sheffield for 32 years, uses her pageant platform to raise awareness about endometriosis, advocate for women’s health, and inspire young women of color across Ohio.
