• Lane closures set for I-90 this week in Lorain County (cleveland.com) — Drivers in Sheffield should prepare for overnight lane closures on I-90 and a key detour affecting access to the Ohio Turnpike this week. Westbound motorists entering at Ohio 254 in Sheffield can’t go straight to the Turnpike and must instead exit at Ohio 57, while eastbound lanes between Avon and the Turnpike will be reduced nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Football Roundup: Avon wins another outright SWC title (chroniclet.com) — Sheffield fans saw Brookside cap its season with a 56-26 home win over Wellington, powered by six touchdown passes from quarterback Mason Waechter.
