• 75 dogs taken from Shelby home after call tips off police (kentucky.com) — Police and humane agents recently removed 75 mostly Chihuahua dogs from a Marvin Avenue home in Shelby after a domestic call revealed severe overcrowding and poor conditions. Local donors have already contributed thousands to help the Humane Society of Richland County treat, spay or neuter, and rehome the animals, and the group is now seeking more foster families and rescue partners.
