• Solon man robbed at gunpoint during Facebook Marketplace sale (cleveland19.com) — A Solon resident was robbed at gunpoint during a Facebook Marketplace car sale, leading to a high-speed chase from SOM Center Road onto U.S. 422 and I-480. Police arrested the 18-year-old driver from Cleveland after he crashed into two vehicles, injuring his passenger and a Brook Park woman, and plan additional robbery and weapons charges. 
• What we learned about Ohio's e-bike age, helmet and riding rules (cleveland.com) — If your kids ride e-bikes in Solon, current city code largely follows Ohio's rules: no set minimum age or helmet requirement for Class 1 and 2, but stricter rules for faster Class 3 bikes. After several local crashes involving children, officials are stressing that only Class 3 riders must be at least 16 and wear approved helmets.
