• Food, music and family fun await at Solon's annual Fall Festival (cleveland.com) — Solon families can mark their calendars for the free Fall Festival at Solon Community Park on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring food trucks, live music, kids' activities and a pumpkin decorating contest. Organizers say this year's event previews even bigger plans once park work finishes, and encourage residents to check city channels for any weather-related updates.
   

• Mayfield Heights woman arrested for OVI; 4 young children inside vehicle (cleveland19.com) — Solon Police say an officer stopped a suspected impaired driver on Harper Road near the U.S. 422 on-ramp and found four young children riding in the SUV. A Mayfield Heights woman now faces OVI, child endangering and lane violation charges, while a sober adult was called to pick up the children, passenger and vehicle.
   

• Bedford Heights man charged with OVI after registering .136% BAC, police say (cleveland19.com) — Solon officers responding to a car off Richmond Road near Columbus Road say they found a Bedford Heights man asleep behind the wheel and had to break a window to secure the vehicle. After resisting officers, he was arrested, taken to Solon Jail, and reportedly tested .136% BAC, leading to OVI, prohibited BAC and resisting arrest charges.
