Solon State Of The City Address Coming March 7

Mayor Susan Drucker will discuss the current state of the city and the future of Solon.

SOLON, OH - The state of the city address will be delivered March 7 during a Solon Chamber of Commerce event. Signature of Solon will play host to the event.

Mayor Susan Drucker will discuss some of the changes happening in Solon. She'll also discuss the city's future in 2017 and beyond.

The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Admission is $25 for Solon Chamber members and $40 for non-members. Reservations are required. You can register for the event here.

One of the major developments in the city recently was Nestle's announcement that it would be expanding its presence in Solon. That means the company is bringing its technical and production organization and all supply chain teams to its Solon, Ohio, campus, the company announced on Wednesday. That will mean 300 jobs migrating to Northeast Ohio.
