• New health commissioner to lead Middletown public health (wdtn.com) — Springdale residents may recognize former city Health Commissioner Matthew Clayton, who has just been appointed to lead Middletown’s public health department starting July 6. The longtime Southwest Ohio public health leader will overlap with Middletown’s retiring commissioner Jackie Carter and says he’s eager to build on existing programs while partnering with local stakeholders to promote health and wellness.
